Children and adults have wonderful fun under the bright summer sun and azure blue sky. South Tyrol’s summer is actually packed with adventures! We have put together the most exciting tips for adventures in the surrounding area for you. The very finest family holidays in South Tyrol!

KronAction adventure park

Just a 5-minute drive away in Issengo/Issing near Falzes/Pfalzen is South Tyrol’s largest adventure park, the KronAction Outdoor & Fun Park. There are 14 courses with more than 140 stations to choose from.

Issengo/Issing lake

Right next to the adventure park, families can splash around in the Issengo/Issing natural swimming lake – a picturesque, little lake surrounded by green countryside.

Columnar crown spruce natural monument

A leisurely hike from Corti/Hofern to Mulini/Mühlen and back takes you to the unique approx. 25-metre high columnar crown spruce, an extremely rare natural spectacle.

Mini golf course in Terento/Terenten

Children and adults can show what they’re made of at 18 holes. Right next to the mini golf course is a cool playground with swings, climbing frame and much more. There’s also a riding centre right next door – so saddle up and off you go!

Earth pyramids in Terento/Terenten

You can see a wonderful natural spectacle in Terento/Terenten not far from Corti/Hofern. Adults and children are amazed by the large “mountain gnomes” with their pointed caps.

Falzes/Pfalzen forest adventure playground

At the Falzes/Pfalzen sports centre there is a playground for young explorers in the middle of the forest with tree houses, rope slides, balancing tracks and more. P.S.: The LandArt trail also starts here, where sculptures by local artists made from natural materials can be admired.

Teodone/Dietenheim outdoor museum

In Teodone/Dietenheim near Brunico/Bruneck children and adults get an insight into the former life of farmers and the nobility in Val Pusteria/Pustertal in the past. An outdoor museum with all kinds of attractions!

Adventure world on Plan de Corones/Kronplatz

There is quite a bit to experience on the plateau of Plan de Corones/Kronplatz’ peak – a climbing park, trampoline and more await sports whizzes of all ages!

Cycle and hike together

There are numerous hiking trails situated not far from the hotel and you can also explore Val Pusteria/Pustertal superbly by bike. We hire children’s bikes at the hotel for your discovery tours together!

  • Fly-Line, a thrilling adventure for the whole family in the middle of the forest by the waterfall trail in Campo Tures/Sand in Taufers

  • “Klausberg Flitzer” Alpine Coaster – the alpine roller coaster at Klausberg’s top station
  • Archery at the Kron Arc Adventure 3D archery course in Valdaora/Olang

Please bring with you: a drink bottle, headgear, sun cream, sun glasses.
Meeting place: 10.00 a.m. Plan de Corones/Kronplatz outdoor centre

Costs: EUR 8.00 for food. The participating children meet our supervisors at 10.00 a.m. at the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz outdoor centre. The group takes the lift up to Plan de Corones/Kronplatz where exercise is on the programme for the whole morning (trip to the Passo Furcia/Furkelpass or to the lakes at Valdaora/Olang middle station). Then they head to the restaurant at the peak for lunch and the fun and games (climbing, trampolining, running, the teepee village, different games) continue afterwards. The children are accompanied by the supervisors down to the bottom station in Riscone/Reischach again at about 3.30 p.m. where they can be collected by their parents at 4.00 p.m. The programme is adapted to the current weather and the children’s ages and preferences.
